you sir have never grown a garden :laugh2:
dogs, cats, racoons, deer, ect,ect,ect
very bad to garden

Ah well, people have a fence round their whole garden overhere. Besides, we have no trouble with cats, dogs, or wild animals either.
I've grown vegetables and seen other people do it, but I never saw people keep their vegetable patch inside a pen.
In what universe is that itsy bitsy fence going to keep out any animals though? Come to think of it, it's probably not going to hold a Triffid inside either :P
Isn't it more to keep the kids out or to keep balls from rolling through? Or maybe just because it looks kinda cute to have a little fence around it.
My mom had a 30mx30m vegetable garden (100'x100' for the metrically challenged) I hated that thing. My brother and I grew some things there too, but I only liked the tomatoes and radishes.

out here. I live in deep country. dogs run free. cats run free.
not a uncommon sight to see a stray cow in your yard.
the fence tells the animals stay out.
most animals figure out the meaning of fences.
honest it is really for pest controll and curb appeal
I meant no disrespect to you.
gardening and hunting is more of hobby to me than arcades.
I like to share it all with you guys

:laugh2: And I thought we were the only ones that had that sort of thing.
Our garden is going to be the death of me this year, just about to get it turned up and rowed ready for planting. Strated with a large patch of nothingness. It's approximately 40' x 80' or so. (hadn't really measured)
Couldn't tell ya what all's in it, I'm just the manual laborer..... Mom and Fiance' are picking the crops.

Yeah, hopefully we'll be tag teaming the upkeep and harvesting once all the big grunt work gets done. :P
