| AVGA3000 card blocked by ATX-CON slot! help! |
| (1/1) |
| Jefferson:
soo my brand new avga card can't physically fit in my pci-e slot cause the little fan grill thing on the card presses up against the connector that's going to a slot named ATX-CON. Which looks like its the power supply. soo I'm only getting partial penetration. like I'm not able to go all the way. Am I being clear enough? Is there like an 'extender' or a cable I can use for the pci-e to get it outta the way? Or an alternate place I can put the power wires? Pics soon! Any help in the meantime? |

A picture or the make and model number of the MB would help. |

Well, that motherboard is pretty badly designed. I'm not sure how well it'll work, but there are some riser adaptors here. You'll need a PCI-e x16 one. |
