Ok, I haven't really been much into the LED scene. I picked up several 5v LED's to replace the bulbs in my coin door and several other buttons on my pincab. I am trying to do a test wiring to see how I'm going to get everything wired into my cabinet. I've wired up a single LED to my LED-Wiz+GP, I've installed both the LED-Wiz app and also LedBlinky, but I can't seem to get any illumination from the LED. This is how I currently have the LED wired. I have wires going from the USB + 5v to voltage Bank 1-8 then from bank 1-8 to the - on the LED. From the + on the LED to input port 1 on the Led-Wiz. Right now I just want this LED to turn on and stay lit. There must be something simple that I am missing. Any tips? |

Or fix your wiring. ;D Wire the LED Neg to the ground, and the LED Pos the the USB +5V right next to it. Ignore the bank voltage, and port 1. |

If I don't troubleshoot this now then I'll have to later. --- Quote from: HarumaN on April 15, 2010, 03:36:02 pm ---Or fix your wiring. ;D Wire the LED Neg to the ground, and the LED Pos the the USB +5V right next to it. Well, in any case, you don't need the voltage bank for what you are doing. Just wire to #1, and ground. |
