It doesn't disqualify the game from consideration when discussing 1v1 fighters. And I don't believe I'm biased, either. I love mvsc/mvsc2, as well as the SF Alphas, and numerous others. High level play in Smash involves just as much speed, skill, technique, and mind games as any other fighting game. I dare say the Melee installment was one of the most frenetically paced fighters made. |
