Plastic shade for a cab screen front.

Hi,
Getting close to finishing of my cab and was looking to put some plastic sheeting as the screen cover. The problem i have is knowing what shade to go, i have 2 options that might work and what like to hear from people that have used these suppliers before.
The first is Trent Plastics and their website showing their tinted stockhttp://www.trentplastics.co.uk/online/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=70 or
Red Ltd and their website showing their tinted stock http://www.plasticonline.co.uk/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=46
Obviously one is light tint and the other is dark tint, just curious to know what tint would suit a cab better, i.e. what would match a smokey glass screen cover on a cab.
Also what thickness would be better, i was thinking along the lines of 3mm, but would 5mm be any better. Obviously cost is a factor, but not at the expense of looks and finish.
Cheers

I used 5mm thick and put on my own window tinting film. Its cheaper as I bought a 10m roll of it for something like 10 quid. I definetely wouldn't go too dark as it really takes away from it. I ended up using the shade in the pic below. I tried 2 different films, different combinations of films and found that shade to be best.

Forgot to mention, this is the company I get my acrylic off! They have a better selection of sizes http://www.hindleys.com/materials/plastics-and-foam/sheet/

My two favourite plastic suppliers ;D
I can't give you much advice on tint colours but I would suggest that you go as thick as possible. 3mm will be too thin and will most likely bow and give funky warped reflections.
5mm may be stiff enough but I would be tempted to get 6mm. Obv 6mm isn't avaliable tinted but as Nacimroc suggested you can get a wide range of window tints to choose from.

Just my 2 cents, but I went with clear plexi for my MAME cab.
