--- Quote from: huygens on May 31, 2010, 02:38:57 pm ---Just took a look at the Sanwa site and the JLW is listed for sale. Link --- End quote --- Thats the JLW-UM, but we're talking about the JLW-TM (as pictured in the starting message). --- Quote from: XCVG on May 31, 2010, 11:28:43 am ---Isn't the U360 based on a JLW? If so, this could be very bad. --- End quote --- Not really ;-) In former days Andy used the JLW-TM and modded it into an U360, but anywhen he decided to completely built his own JLW-like clone. The point of proof is the different material of the mounting plate. So you need not to be afraid of a discontinued U360. |

TM.... UM.... What's the difference? |
| :oj:
UM has a thicker shaft and is used with LB-45 and LB-30N handles without thread adaptor. TM has a thinner shaft and is used with LB-35 and smaller (or LB-45 and LB-30N in addition with a thread adaptor). Furthermore the mountingplate of the UM is more square, the plate of the TM more rectangular |

Hmmm the JLW-TM is the stick that I got through Ultimarc...and one I love...that sucks. I think Andy still has stock and I may have to order a few more if this is the case :( |
