Isn't Vaseline a brand? It's petroleum jelly. Ask your cell mate, I'm sure he has some.

True.. I guess this is one of those cases where the brand name has taken the place of what the product is called (like kleenex).

Anyways, I meant, Is there any particular type of petroleum jelly that works best... and gross! hah!

I'll just go with the Vaseline brand and avoid any further jokes.
