I'm just waiting for a local ButtFuckers franchise to open up near my location. Seems like a good place to take the kids for a birthday party.
(For those of you who haven't seen Idiocracy, this is a reference within the movie)
And of course the obvious observation about Idiocracy is that it doesn't take place in the future, but is a commentary about how things are now!

It's a constant for many threads around here, not just movie threads.
I rarely watch movies by myself anymore, though.

I'm the reverse. I rarely watch movies WITH anyone ;D Last one was with an Austrian chick with diplomatic privileges. I reckon that would have been useful somewhere along the line. Neither of us were enamoured with the movie (Crazy Heart)

The Rocky Horror Picture Show HAS to be seen LIVE. VIRGINS!!!
The movie by itself is not so good, you have to experience it.
We used to drive into Boston all the time, they have a midnight show in Harvard Square.
I think it is still running there.
I have seen it about 10 times.

It's a shame that a movie can only be enjoyed when you're paying more attention to the crowd or waiting for your cues.
The movie is not worth owning, that's for sure...unless you can call up a 100 friends to come over and watch it every time.
Tim Bisley is right about Time Warp.
