The Time Lords are coming!
protokatie:
Sorry about the poor image quality. I dont have a real digital camera, just the webcam on my netbook.
The last image was an attempt at what it looks like inside... There is a lightning lamp that is just glowing white in the pic, and an lcd monitor for the computer hidden inside. Also a chair. The thing is really cozy when in actual use. BTW the top crown of my tardis is hollow, and will eventual be the place I hide my fileserver.
EDIT: I just realized that the top crown isnt really visible in any of the photos (just barely in the first pic).

Ok...now I remember this and glad you were joking lol

Kind of silly... But I recall someone mentioning making this box so it was like a whole room inside (like the show?).
Im not a big dr. who fan but remember seeing it some as a kid.
Anyways, I thought thatd be a cool idea to try to figure out how to pull it off.
nothing fantastic here I know... just playing around. But putting it in a corner (or even a fake facade onto a corner), cutting in a bulkhead of sorts into the room to give it a little extra illusion and walah!

As Ray pointed out, I had already thought of such a thing :D . One thing to consider tho (after looking at your plan) is that the impact would be much greater if three sides of the tardis were "open" (ie could be seen). If I take off the back panel and simply put it up against an opening to a room, it would look like it had been placed up against a wall. The "in corner" sketch you made might make it look too much like it was built in. Regardless, this thing is held together with hinges so I can remove any panel :D.
