xm radio aor audio book rental?
(1/1)
daywane:
I like talk radio. I also love to listen to audio books.
SiFi\ Fantasy even some westerns,
My radio station 96.1 news talk just up and went Hank Country!!!
no warning or anything!
we have 1 other station but I just do not care for that station that much.
I looked into XM Radio. Wal-Mart $60.00 for the radio ( bit less but I can not remember the correct price) Xm Fee is close to $13.00 a month. and a few hook up fees.
I think I would prefer to just join a rental club on audio books
what audio book rental place do you use like?
most of the books from the library come from recorded books

Audible.com was recommended to me by another member of this board and I've been real happy with them. I also pick some up from my local library occasionally.
daywane:

Not sure if you can get it where you are, but 100.7 out of Bowling Green Ky is pretty good.
My nephew, Tony Rose, does a pretty good show early in the mornings. (Tony Rose Show).
