Chat Room Suggestion
« on: July 27, 2003, 10:53:27 pm »
The "chat room" link takes you right into the IRC java client. IMHO it would be better to see a page that gives the IRC server details, and a specific link to the java client if one so desires. This way folks aren't unknowingly waiting for their browsers load up a java applet, and we also won't see so many of these in the IRC channel:

* Guest23227 has joined #BYOAC
* Guest23227 has quit IRC (QUIT: )

You are going to see guests entering and leaving the chatroom regardless:)  Saint can add a we bit of that I suppose to the html page with the java on it though you'd only have to load it once to get the info.

Edit:  oh wait, the html does include the connect info:)
