| Noisy Hard Drive |
| (1/1) |
| Hewskie:
So my mame cab has a very noisy hard drive, I think. It could be the cpu fan but I think it's the hard drive. What would be the best option to replace it with? Are all hard drives noisy or just older ones? Can I easily/cheaply replace it? I Have a 500g external drive, but I'm hesitant to leave it on all the time. I'd probably need about 500g of space to be safe, any recommendations? Thanks Hewskie |

If it is noisy get rid of it before it dies. If your hardware supports SATA get a 500 GB 3.5 inch drive. Seems to be the sweet point right now. |

(Finally going to play around with the CHD games since some seem to be playable with decent hardware) |
