hmm is configurable to MALA FrontEnd?

And why in the option of the product there is a choise of number of USB device?? ("Use if FIRST or ONLY of this EXACT controller")

Because if you use multiple units, each will need its own device ID.

Here's the NovaGem 2™ preview I promised:

They are photographed on a light table of sorts to show the colors better.  Obviously things get much brighter with NovaGem LED units inside  8).

Any ETA on availability?  I need to order an RGB trackball kit pretty soon and would love to pick up a few of these too.

Jury is still out for me whether I want to light my buttons or not.  I'm really interested in the flexibility this new button would give trying different switches.  It would be nice to have a solid color option as well.

+1 to solid colors.

I would love to try out the True Leafs on my cab.

Been crazy here lately.  The first shipment if EI buttons are gone and we are waiting on the second now.  Hopefully it won't be too long.

The NG2 buttons were shown as a preview.  This style and one other is being worked on.  The NG2's are going to require a small modification to the mold, so that is what is delaying them.

When the floodgates open on these, the delays should be much shorter between production runs.

Can you also comment on NG2's coming in? Ofcourse no one can hold you to this, but do you have any idea what the lead times will be?

so riddle me this... ive got 25 EI(2)s with the RGB boards.. ive got the LEDwiz... i need 75 to do all 25 buttons in R G and B. but what if i wanted to go with the other colors? do i have to dedicate a number on the led wiz for the other colors? should i just dedicate an ledwiz for each color and be done with it?

:)

Quit your whiney bitching already -- you sound like a little kid who wants candy at recess and doesn't care to wait for everybody else !!!

There is a reason that you missed out on the first run -- you were too busy asking and not busy enough ordering. There is nothing wrong with that (I wish everybody would ask before they ordered), but you are being unreasonably impatient. I wish I had asked more questions before I placed my first orders.

Calm down.

You don't see me crying like a baby about the lack of NovaGem 2's yet, do you ?

 ;)

Relax, they will be available when they are available and, when they are (if you order them), you will be happy.

EDIT: It should be noted that some vendors (and I doubt that RandyT falls in this category) will blacklist buyers for being whiny about things. From my experience (as an international buyer), you should not be a whiny child on the forums when you want to buy something from another country. It is a genuine pain for vendors to ship internationally and I can't imagine the kind of patience it would take to go through the complaints and hassle for a button order than might generate enough profit to buy a can of soda. So, unless you have been cheated ... smarten the ---fudgesicle--- up!

Do you really think Randy is holding these back to piss you off?

Why don't you go ahead and order from somewhere else. Oh yeah, thats right, you can't.

Tell you what, why don't you do something even better and develop some buttons yourself that you can sell to all of the other impatient wingers.

There was yet another problem at the factory, which they have now sorted out.  The EI buttons are running and we expect to see them in a few days.  They will be doing testing on the NovaGem2 colors at the end of the run.  There were a few more internal bubbles in the samples than I would have liked to have seen, so I told them they needed to do something about it before production began on those.

We should be getting a solid black version in this run as well, for those who just want a durable solid button with different switch options.  Other colors will follow, but these will hopefully have something more special about them that I can't discuss just yet.

And no, I'm not withholding buttons because I derive some sado-masochistic pleasure from doing so :).  Business moves at the speed of the supply chain, and I have a weak, but essential, link.

Looking forward to seeing all these new buttons with all these options (and seeing the 'something more special' if the 'hopefully' works out).
