Its to diffrent mate

1) there is holes for peddels below wich is coverd
2) the angle of the side suggests a streaing rack as so do the inners and coin slots.

all you got there is a bog standard run of the mill generic jamma cabinet that was running a racing game, its different just cos it dont have a marquee and it is set up for racing controls,so the cp area is different and also the bottom is.

if you think the game is a unique one then think that, all i posted was to let you know its just a bog standard jamma cabinet, not unique.

the markings on the monitor bezel are what you get on all the leisure 2000 cabinets.i seen these cabs you are showing on ebay just in different configuration (as in cp layout)

not unique, generic jamma cabinet, probably why you think its highly jammerised, thats cos it is a jamma cabinet.

yes,i think its good candidate for a jamma game (multi board perhaps) or mame but,i wouldnt be concerned with what game it was actualy running.like i say its just a generic cab, switch out stuff to other games etc.

Made the metal plates to hold the glass in place and got some speakers. Im not happy with the speakers so im working on moving the speaker to the side side of the cab to give it more base and allso redoing the grills so there black . that way they will match better.

Fully stripped all the wiring out and replaced with a new jamma harness and new wiring. Still working on the Cp section of it (nope sorry it wont be a driving cab). Allso a new speaker amp is being installed. Plus a load of other stuff on going.

Im not rushing this build just doing a little at a time as money is seriously tight.

Ill post some more pics up once the speakers are finished and the CP is looking better.

IMO, I kinda like the look of the speakers where they are in those pictures.  If you painted the housing black, it would really look modern sitting in the side like that. Especially with it resting up against the curve.

Any one have a clue what it was so i know were i can start.

I guess this really isn't a restoration if you don't know what it was.  It's looking good, but this should probably get moved to the project annoucements section.

Been spending some time doing the cp as in getting the angle and hight just right. now this may look a bit wird but since it was a driving cab i think it feels correct as in the hight and the angle for playability Any way it still needs sanding and still needs to finish it all off and wire it all up.

All so as you can see i made a brand new door for the system .. Just need 4 locks now wich i cannot afford so they will have to wait lol.

This is coming alone very nicely!..  Damn paint job looks great!! Are you going to make a CP overlay or just paint it?

Well this is the job so far and a few more bits and bobs done

I don't know were to Put the 1/2 Player and coin buttons as of yet and i don't know if i should add a coin door as that will bump up the price quite alot and tbh im skint lol ..

Ive still got to get some plastic for the CP but our local B&Q are rip off artists and the smallest peace is £16 which is a micky take i think.

there is still alot more work to do but i think its getting there.

looking good, i like it.  what about installing the start and coin buttons on that small vertical strip at the back of the control panel?

as for the coin door, i have coin doors in both of my cabinets, and i have modified them to accept washers instead of tokens or quarters, but i very rarely ever use them.  i do have the reject buttons configured as my only coin buttons, so in a way it is like having to reach down and insert another coin when you want to play...it just makes it feel more authentic than having coin buttons on the panel (but it is not as convenient)
