Clash of the Titans - Remake

<< < (13/15) > >>

hyiu:
I saw it in 3D because I got invited to a free screener.

action / story / cg is ok... not impressive... (given that my last movie at theater is imax 3d avatar...)

I would not pay to go to theater to see it...
to me, this is a home theater dvd movie...

I think I saw the original long time ago from like tv re-runs...
my memories of it is I do like it....
just added it to my netflix so that I can watch it again...

oh... and one thing...
on this one... when they have fast fighting / action...
it seems to me like the 3d effect is a little jittery....

Silas (son of Silas):
I had absolutely zero interest in watching this movie until I just watched the trailer on Youtube and noticed that Pete Postlethwaite's in it. Can't be all bad? I may go see this.

He does add points to any movie he's in.

+1
I almost started to think he did it on purpose.. so when the girls get killed, you get some sorta satisfaction from it.  Which I did.. but still came out not liking it and only bought the planet terror movie and soundtrack.

I saw this Clash remake in 2D yesterday.  Didn't care that much for it.  Did anyone like the original better..?  I still have yet to see it

DaOld Man:
Went to see it yesterday.
I thought it was pretty good, but maybe not worth what it cost. (10.50 per ticket)
The effects, IMO, were pretty good.
I watched it in 3d, and I was not impressed with that. (But, take into account that the last 3d movie I saw was when I took my then young daughter to see Spy Kids 3D, and Titans 3D was a lot better than that piece of crap.)
Someone mentioned the metal owl. It is briefly in this film, but I thought the owl was a bit silly in the original movie, so Im glad they cut it.
The blind witches, IMO, were not as good as the original, but the scorpions were much better, as was Pegasus and the Kraken.
