I am stripping the coin door down and picked up a can of rustoleum hammered spray paint. I am wondering if hammered is the way to go on this door. It looked smooth to being with. Suggestions.

Semi-gloss black.

I had mine powder-coated (along with all of the other metal pieces). It was expensive but worth it, IMO.

Too rich for me, I don't think I can add that expense to the list.

The door is a little dinged up and I thought that the hammered or textured would cover that up. Will the Semi-gloss cover that up?
