mame games work fine though.. if they work in mame they work in hyperspin.  The only ones you might need to worry about are the console games. If your naming looks something like this

mario bros. 3 (ver.A)(us)(!).rom    then it's probably good set ..

if it looks like this

mario bros. 3 (USA).rom then it's probably no-intro

Yeah... I imagine once you get used to clrmame it becomes easier. I'm waiting for them to put up a guide on using it, and they are even going to put up .dat files to use with it (lists of games) so I'm sure it'll be a since to do once I take a look at those guides.  The other guides for hyperspin have been really great and easy to follow.
