Damn! The closest show to me is about an hour away and it's already sold out. :banghead:
Who's in Testatment these days? Does Alex Skolnick take time out from the TSO?
Ginsu Victim:
Oh, Alex is in TSO?!? Man, I missed out on their OKC performance this past holiday season. I need to make sure I catch them next time.

--- Quote ---That's nice and all (I like Ellefson), but Megadeth without Marty Friedman lost my interest years ago. Good thing Marty's been putting out AWESOME solo albums.

Marty & Menza returning would be Heaven. However, probably will never
happen.
United Abominations was actually Really good. If you have not heard it,
I highly suggest it. Much better than the just released album Imop.
Chris Broadrick, the new MD guitarist... Hes Excellent in playing the
old tunes. He really captures the nuances note for note, sound for sound.
However... he does not seem to have his Own creativity. Hes like a robot
guitarist. heh Makes for a great Tour man, but not so hot album work.
New drummer is Ok too. Plays decent enough... but again, same
as the chris... He seems to be more of a player, than a creator... and
thus new stuff is kinda lifeless and boring.
Glen Drover was the Guitarist on United Abominations, and the stuff on
it was decent. Not Marty, but still enjoyable. Unfortunately, he was
horrible on Tour. He kept butchering the solos.
The 4hr drive to PA is going to be a PITA... but it should be worth it.
I just cant believe that MD isnt selling to larger arenas in the states.
Metallica sucks since black (and that wasnt that good either), and I wont
support them with a single penny anymore. Im also surprised at the
fans who continue to buy their Crappy albums. Nothing they have done
past black would get played at local gigs if they didnt have the Name
and decent past songs behind them. (all of which dont even hold up
to an album like Countdown to Extinction or RIP)

He's in the east coast version of TSO. They have an east and a west coast TSO for touring every year. We've seen the east coast touring group the last 3 years... Alex can still shred!

HA! I just looked at the west coast performers and Jeff Scott Soto (from Yngwie fame) is singing for them.

Some people hate on Justice because of One (and everything that goes with it -- videos, awards, airplay, etc), but it's my favorite Metallica album. I don't consider anything after it to be worth much, though Garage Inc is great (go figure, an album of covers). Gotta say, the black album looks better and better with each new release. The worse they are, the better that one sounds (though I still don't care for it).
