Meh, why stop at 10 ports, go for 80 ports  :laugh2:

When you get it, could you post the ma output on the powersupply?

Just curious, but I've found that many 7 port hubs come with way underpowered PS's, say, 1000 ma.

But with 7 ports each topping out at potentially 500ma, so that's theoretically 3500ma. If the ps tops out at 1000, you may see problems if you drive all the ports hard.

I've seen that first hand with a cheap USB hub I picked up.

Swapped with with a 7 port kinsington with a more powerfull ps and haven't had any problems.

if the ps is strong enough, that would be a very handy device to have around!

Hmm, I wonder how usefull that 80 port board would be. It almost looks like it is something used for industrial machine control, not anything one would use with normal PC devices.

As per the OP, I thought he might be refering to Ethernet as I just ordered one of these:

I am sick of having to keep swapping ethernet cables on the 4 port router just to use the livingroom entertainment computer/system.

EDIT: Translated from Japanese, the site says it is a USB charging board, nothing more.
